OD Partnership Series - Oregon CCP Lessons from the Field

Alisa Blum, Judy Sugg & Sarah Budd

This training will be conducted live via Zoom. The zoom meeting details will be sent out prior to the training.

This session is part of a new ongoing series offered in collaboration with the Oregon ODN Community Consulting Project.

The Organization Development Network of Oregon and its affiliated program, the Community Consulting Project, present Lessons from the Field. Oregon's ODN Chapter is home to CCP, providing OD consulting to local nonprofits using teams of volunteers from the Oregon ODN network. Join us to learn the work CCP does, highlighting three recent community consulting projects. Team members will present their project, the OD strategies and tools used, challenges, and outcomes.

The event will focus on the OD principles and methodologies used by recent CCP teams to meaningfully develop:
o        Leadership and team building
o        Communication and reorganization challenges
o        Employee recognition
o        Implementation of platforms for facilitation of employee recognition

You’ll come away with valuable tips that you can apply to working with non-profit clients, decide if you would like to lend your expertise to a future CCP project or explore the possibility of starting a similar program within your local OD Network.

Learning Objectives:

1. Gain knowledge in real life scenarios in consulting.

2. Gain understanding of on the ground decision making for executive leadership consulting.

3. How to engage with clients in nonprofit systems.

        About Your Facilitators

Alisa Blum, Judy Sugg, and Sarah Budd were the Lead and/or Senior Consultant who guided their respective teams and ensured that the client received a quality consulting service. These leaders were recruited directly by the Core Team from our chapter professionals or from successful consulting team members who qualify for this role. They have significant consulting experience and command credibility with clients as well as volunteer consultants.

Alisa Blum, Judy Sugg, and Sarah Budd were responsible for the overall quality of the project, our mission of community service, and for providing a basis of team and individual learning around consultancy skills. They all took an active role in meeting with the team, and staying in touch with the client.
