OD Workshop -Creating a Compassionate Culture: Starting with Self-Compassion
Sara Schairer
Join us on March 13 from 4-6pm PT for a positive and uplifting workshop with Sara Schairer.
Join us for an enriching workshop focused on cultivating compassion for yourself in order to better impact others. Led by Sara Schairer, this interactive session will introduce participants to the transformative power of compassion and its application in various aspects of professional and personal life. Beginning with an exploration of self-compassion, attendees will engage in visualization exercises and discussions to define its pillars. Through various activities and discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of compassion towards oneself and others.
In the latter part of the workshop, participants will consider compassionate principles toward various spheres, including colleagues, community members, and the planet. Attendees will brainstorm practical ways to integrate compassion into their daily lives and work environments. The workshop will culminate in reflections with each participant sharing their key takeaway, fostering a collective commitment to fostering compassion within ourselves, organizational settings, and beyond.
1 - Enhanced Understanding and Application of Compassion: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of self-compassion and its pillars, including mindfulness and common humanity.
2 - Empowered Action and Collaboration: By exploring how to "compassion it" in various spheres such as the workplace, community, and toward our planet, participants will leave the workshop feeling empowered to take compassionate action.
3 - Personal Growth and Reflection: The workshop will provide a space for participants to reflect on their own strengths, challenges, and areas for growth in practicing compassion. Through guided activities, attendees will develop greater levels of self-awareness and self-kindness.
