Chris Hooten
Join us on March 18 from 6-8 PM PT for an interactive webinar led by Chris Hooten (they/them), a potent voice in the field for revolutionary inclusive change.
Participants will learn about the 4-D Model of Neuro-inclusive Communication, a framework developed for promoting cooperation, collaboration, and compassionate communication in Neurodiverse teams, organizations, and communities. The model helps managers tackle dynamic communication problems and provides tools to shift organizational and community orientation toward understanding Neurodivergent individuals. The 4-D Model promotes Intersectional Neurodiversity and reframes Neurodivergent characteristics as strengths rather than challenges.
In this experiential workshop, you will:
1. Learn how to approach communication challenges effectively between Neurodivergent and Neurotypical team members and embrace Intersectional Neurodiversity.
2. Understand the characteristics and communication styles of Neurodivergent individuals as strengths instead of challenges. This knowledge will promote cooperation, collaboration, and compassionate communication, increasing productivity and self-esteem.
3. Gain a deep understanding of the 4-D Model of Neuro-inclusive Communication and apply it to your work environment for DEIB and Anti-Racism work while ensuring accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities.
