OD Workshop - My Journey From OD to Agile: and Why it Matters
Diana Larsen
From a beginning in instructional design and employee/leader development through facilitation and organization development, to socio-technical systems and work process design, Diana Larsen's journey ultimately led her from high tech organizations to the Manifesto for Agile Software Development (agilemanifesto.org) where she found her true professional home. Looking back it makes total sense. From any point along the way, she would never have predicted it. Retrospective coherence (a.k.a. "hindsight") is a wonderful thing!
How did Diana's journey to satisfying work she's loved roll out? How might her journey offer clues for others? For you? Diana will tell her story, along with the mentoring and models that sustained her from one decision to the next. Her story will be followed by a lively Ask-Diana-Anything session of conversational Q&A.
In this program, you will:
- Practice guided reflection on career choices
- How to discover a life purpose
- How emergence and systems thinking make personal difference
