June Presentation - Five Keys to Resilience: Combating Burnout for Leaders and Teams

Christy Mihina

This training will be conducted live via Zoom.

Burnout is a very real threat to our health, our life satisfaction, and our effectiveness as leaders, partners, parents and caregivers. The need for practical burnout support and personal resilience skills has never been more urgent. As OD practitioners, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients recognize burnout and support leaders and teams to develop resilient ways of living and working. We also need this support and skillset for ourselves, to stay resilient and whole in our role as change agents and model what the systems around us are missing.

Participants will have opportunities to practice with resilience skills such as body-mind connection, mindset work, and exploration of boundaries as we review the Five Keys to Resilience, in the large group and in breakouts (as possible).

Learning Objectives

  • How to recognize and respond to the (sometimes surprising) signs of burnout in yourself and others
  • A framework for building more resilient leaders and teams: the Five Keys to Resilience
  • Resilience practices you can apply with your clients and in your own life and work
