What does leadership have to do with OD? Everything.
Bringing 35+ years of experience as an organizational leader, internal consultant, external consultant, and leadership coach, Gloria Burgess will explore relevant intersections among these diverse roles in mobilizing and leading systems change and transformation.
Gloria will include examples of her work as a leader and consultant in diverse contexts, examples at the individual, organizational, and national level. She will also discuss one of her recent books, Flawless Leadership: Connecting Who You Are with What You Know and Do.
About Your Presenter
A pioneer and innovator in leadership formation and development and organizational dynamics, Dr. Gloria J. Burgess, is also an acclaimed poet, speaker, and author. As a leadership and OD scholar-practitioner, Gloria serves as faculty in executive and transformational leadership at University of Washington, Seattle University, University of Southern California, Trinity Clergy Project, and IEDC School of Management in Bled, Slovenia. Last year was the 10th anniversary of her groundbreaking book, Dare to Wear Your Soul on the Outside, which Dr. Warren Bennis hailed as “an original, powerful, and inspirational work that should be required reading for all serious students and practitioners of leadership.”
