Recognize the Moment with Theresa Chambers
Although U.S. companies spend upwards of $100 billion annually on recognition and incentives, 65% of employees say they don’t feel valued for their contributions. Trends show companies scaling back on formal awards and focusing more on fostering a culture of appreciation at the team level – where it matters most!
This session will expand the way you think about employee recognition and inspire you to practice more meaningful appreciation at work.
We’ll begin with a short presentation to:
- Build a business case to elevate recognition as more than just a “nice thing to do” to one that significantly impacts retention and engagement;
- Introduce the four-dimensional model that challenges the way many organizations practice employee recognition; and
- Practice Thankology™, the art of noticing “out loud.”
We’ll wrap up with a discussion to share low cost tools and ideas to build stronger cultures of appreciation and engagement.
